Norman Gräter inspires Namibia
Recently, the first Start-up Festival took place in Namibia and Global Topspeaker Norman Gräter was one of the international speakers. In the run-up to the festival, the motivator had already trained some speakers to shape them up for the stage. „It was a real challenge to break down our Inspirational Speaker Academy from 10 days to a single one.” Amongst others, one of the speakers trained was Ananias Shikongo, the winner of the gold medal at the Paralympics in Rio in 2016, and another one was Gaby Ahrens, who – as the first woman ever – was granted the honour of carrying the Namibian flag and leading the Namibian Team at the Olympic Games in London.
Madame Monica Geingos, the First Lady of the Republic of Namibia as well as Founder and Executive Director of the ONE Economy Foundation, was invited to attend the opening speech. Following a panel discussion with the First Lady, Norman Gräter opened the Start-up Festival with the first keynote. The attending 370 guests were greatly impressed by the amazing energy of the German inspirer. After the festival, the Global Topspeaker trained 25 selected start-ups on the subject of „Communication“ and was on air on 99FM Namibia radio for a live interview.
As the feedback was really extraordinary, a weekend for personal development as well as a speaker training will be offered in Namibia in 2018. Furthermore, Norman Gräter intends to get in touch with the First Lady to support her organisation ONE.
