Futurologist Janszky goes „backstage“ at Chinese Tech-Giants

There is every indication that China will become the leader in the world economy. Even today a lot of technologies and business models are developed in China which influence our day to day life. The ongoing trade conflict between China and the U.S. is one of the many signs that the world trade order is going to change. That’s why it is important to not only watch the Silicon Valley but also the economic centre Shenzhen and Shanghai.

Therefore, Global Topspeaker and Chairman of the 2b AHEAD Think Tank, Europe’s largest futurology institute, Sven Gabor Janszky visited China with 7 innovators from Germany at the beginning of September. They visited innovative companies of the Chinese tech-scene and informed themselves about the newest developments. One of the companies was the company “Tencent”, the parent company of “We Chat” and one of the giants of the Chinese technology-scene. “We Chat” has one billion users. Furthermore, the innovative group visited companies like Shenzhen Stock Exchange, iCarbonX, Whalehouse, Tuya smart, Malu Innovation, Glamour Group and many more.

They also informed themselves about gene-technology and robot-development. The group around the futurologist was allowed to take a glimpse behind the scenes at “Deep Blue Technology”. “Deep Blue Technology” is one of the largest Chinese AI-platforms with applications in intelligent driving & vehicle manufacturing, intelligent robots, AI CITY or biological intelligence. “The trip was fascinating for all participants and showed how far technology has already developed. It was also a great glimpse at the future on what we can accept to see from Chinese companies. We need to prepare for those changes and adapt to coming developments. We should not make the mistake to just watch the U.S.”, the futurologist Sven Gabor Janszky sums up the travel.
