After graduating from high school, Katja Porsch decided to study business administration on the advice of her parents, but quickly realised that she was not living her own life, but giving in to the ideas of others. That wasn't for the Berliner, which is why she dropped out of her studies and went in search of big money. This path led her into the real estate industry. In this male domain, Katja Porsch started with cold calls and quickly outshone her colleagues. There she learned: When the pain is greater, run! With great success: she was one of the most successful saleswomen. The shock of the first bankruptcy was all the greater: suddenly everything was gone.

To fight her way out of this situation, Katja Porsch decided to go back to sales, after all, that was her strength and she could quickly pay off her debts. The motivational speaker only realised that she was building her own prison when it was already too late. Katja Porsch took over a company that was heavily in debt, a big mistake that drove her into her second bankruptcy. The second major setback made the change expert realise that it was time to make a change: Katja Porsch finally wanted to do something for herself!

The founder of Macher-Events registered with the GSA (German Speaker Association), drew a line under the real estate industry and filed for bankruptcy. An indescribable feeling of freedom spread! Katja Porsch started from scratch: she had no name recognition, no reach and no references as a speaker. So the motivational speaker grabbed the phone and got started!

Today, Katja Porsch is a sought-after speaker in Germany and the USA for talks on the topics of motivation, change and moving her audience to finally take action. The 5-star speaker is also the successful author of 6 books and the founder and organiser of the "Macher Events" and the "Macher Festival".

In addition to her career as a coach and speaker, Katja Porsch is an ambassador for Straßenkinder e.V.. She has also founded the Teddy Bear Campaign and is planning further voluntary collaborations.
