Global Topspeaker Lothar Seiwert receives Comenius Award
The practical guide reveals how to avoid stress traps by using the software program Microsoft Office Outlook and how to optimise the structure of the daily schedule. The renowned time manager Lothar Seiwert and his highly skilled team of authors present the most important techniques to do so and demonstrate the individual steps by means of images and videos. The fact that pictures are essential for improved learning had already been recognised by John Amos Comenius (1592 – 1670). This is why the Comenius-EduMedia Award - which was awarded in Berlin for the 21st time - is named after the famous pedagogue.
Every year, the prize is awarded to electronic and digital educational media that are exemplary in terms of educational quality, content and design. 165 applications entered the race for the award and were evaluated by an international panel of scientists and educational experts. On the occasion of the award ceremony “Digital Innovations in Europe” by the Gesellschaft für Pädagogik, Information und Medien e. V. (GPI) (Society for Education, Information and Media; registered society) the most outstanding products were finally selected.
Due to the high educational and medial value of his book, the panel honoured Lothar Seiwert with the award in the category Educational Multimedia Products. “Germany’s leading time manager” (Focus magazine) also applies this technique in his presentations where the sought-after lecturer and keynote speaker uses a wide variety of media such as video clips and pieces of music to better illustrate the topic “time” and to convey it to his audience.
