NEW BEETHOVEN CD BOX BY CONDUCTOR P. STANGEL AND TASCHENPHILHARMONIE

NEW BEETHOVEN CD BOX BY CONDUCTOR P. STANGEL AND TASCHENPHILHARMONIE

A new CD box with Beethoven’s symphonies no. 1 - 9 by the „world’s smallest symphony orchestra“, the taschenphilharmonie München (the pocket philharmonics Munich) and their conductor and artistic director, Global Topspeaker Peter Stangel, is now available at the Süddeutsche Zeitung Edition. The box also contains an audio academy on every single symphony. Furthermore, a comprehensive accompanying book is included in the box which is available at the price of 49.90 Euros.

Peter Stangel can safely be called a star conductor. The communication coach and conductor who was born in the Czech Republic has already received numerous awards for his works and his initiatives to promote classical music – the Leopold Media Prize, the promotion prize of the city of Munich for music and new media or the nomination for “Best conductor” by the German „Opernwelt International“ magazine.

With the foundation of the taschenphilharmonie München – an ensemble consisting of 10 to 19 musicians, depending on the respective musical work performed - in 2005, Peter Stangel created a new platform to provide access to classical music. Connoisseurs, enthusiasts, rookies and, above all, children thus have the opportunity to experience the joy of classical music in a direct and open manner.

The principle of chamber music symphonies which the taschenphilharmonie with its small ensemble implements so perfectly, offers ideal conditions to do so. The audio academies – a specialty of the taschenphilharmonie – where the respective musical works are dissected and explained by the entire orchestra in terms of their making, form or history – provide unique insights into the world of the composers and musicians.

„Less is more“ is exactly what composer and keynote speaker Peter Stangel together with his taschenphilharmonie proves on the 10 CDs of Beethoven symphonies the gift box contains. An unparalleled and unforgettable sound and listening experience provided by the master of perfection, Peter Stangel, and played by a passionate ensemble that truly enjoys making music.
