At the recent 2b AHEAD Ventures Founders Event 1.0 in Leipzig (Germany), young entrepreneurs with pioneering spirit had the opportunity to reshape their own commercial future. The event addressed motivated, courageous and determined students, graduates and potential university dropouts. Moreover, the event consciously reached out to young people who are dissatisfied with their current job or whose first start-up failed.

 

2b AHEAD Ventures is an external innovation lab used by business clients of the 2b AHEAD ThinkTank headed by futurologist Sven Gabor Janszky. Taking advantage of 2b AHEAD’s expertise, companies incubate their own business models. Furthermore, certain customers also get the opportunity to establish their own “digital lab” in collaboration with 2b AHEAD. That way, these partners set up a modern innovation management for disruptive times. 2b AHEAD Ventures sees themselves as an early-stage company builder in the pre-seed and seed phase.

The event in Leipzig was about finding people who have a strong start-up spirit and aimed at establishing start-ups together with 2b AHEAD Ventures and experts. The applicants were neither expected to provide their own business model nor their own funds. 2b AHEAD Ventures themselves presented business models and ideas just waiting to be realised and they also provided the budget for the pre-seed phase. All that was expected of the prospective entrepreneurs was determination, commitment and resilience.
