Global Topspeakers inspire at GSA Convention
The program of the convention characterizes with high claim and diversity. During the two days lectures, workshops and the new format “5x5” – five lectures on a topic in five minutes. Amongst well-known speakers several Global Topspeaker like Dr. Boris Nikolai Konrad, Sylvie di Giusto, 5 Sterne speakers agency owner Heinrich Kürzeder, Monika Scheddin and Andreas Buhr spoke at the convention. The first Global Topspeaker who inspired was the neuroscientist and memory world champion Dr. Boris Nikolai Konrad. In his lecture “Erzähl’ keinen Sch*ß – Faktencheck für Redner” Dr. Konrad appealed to the responsibility of speakers, to focus on facts and not spread Fake News.
Sylvie di Giusto, who travelled to the convention from New York, surprised the audience. During her lecture “You have 7 seconds. Make them Count!” she changed from English to German und astonished the audience, which did not expect this change. Sylvie di Giusto mentioned how important the first seven seconds of a contact are and it doesn’t matter whether it is business, a lecture or a presentation. This small period decides over failure and success. 5 Sterne agency owner Heinrich Kürzeder talked in his lecture about speakers’ agencies and what a good agency provides.
But also, Networking was an important part of the convention. Breaks and the framework programme gave great opportunities to exchange. Especially the international guests gave impulses to new trends and business models. An appreciative gesture was that Global Topspeaker Alexander Wild, who was a guest of the convention, showed interested guests his Frankfurt. This shows that the GSA is more than just an organisation.
“I am really pleased with this year’s convention. The colleagues have understood how important quality in times of change and “Fake News” is – and this quality relies on facts, relevance and personality. Only this way we can build up credibility and trust. In the end our customers success is also our success”, the Global Topspeaker and Chairman of the convention took stock after the convention.
